Fort Worth Cultural District Museums and Community Arts Center Host 2009 Day in the District

Including FREE admission and performances to participating organizations

September 26, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The museums and Fort Worth Community Arts Center in the Fort Worth Cultural District are pleased to announce the fourth annual Day in the District, a celebration of the rich and diverse cultural organizations in Fort Worth, with exciting, entertaining, and interactive programming and performances for all ages. The museums will offer free admission, and various performing arts organizations will offer free performances in and around the museums.

These exciting outdoor performances and events encourage patrons to walk through the beautiful grounds surrounding the museums. Day in the District is a festival designed to invite local residents to enjoy the world-class cultural experiences offered in Fort Worth. It also provides an opportunity for those who are not aware of the various organizations in our community to discover something wonderful and new. Come spend an enriching and entertaining Day in the District!
