Blue Yule Time Again at McKinney Avenue Contemporary

Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

It’s Blue Yule time again at The McKinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC), whose annual fundraising features those crazy, great Christmas ornaments made by crazy, great artists and patrons. And they will make your holiday decorations “bling” with joy.

Free beads, beer and bubbly! Show your blue bling while you sip a cup of blue yule punch that will keep you howling until the next blue moon! And, have your picture taken with the blue Madonna while dancing with DJ Regan Parenton!

Attendants will enjoy blue bling, the infamous Mystery Blue Punch, booze, and TO is sending its favorite blue pop-corn, and a silent auction!

The MAC is offering a $250.00 cash prize for the artist or patron with the coolest ornament. Honorary judge will be Kenneth Craig Director of Craigheadgreen Gallery. The winners of “The Best Blue Yule Ornament Contest” will receive prizes

As part of the fundraising, The MAC will launch a new option on its website, where people can donate any amount of money on-line.

$20.00 for the general public and $15.00 for MAC members at the door. Admission to partake in booze, food, silent auction, music and the most original and craziest ornaments in town. For more information call 214-953-1212. The MAC is located at 3120 McKinney Avenue, between Oak Grove and Bowen.
