Posted Tuesday, November 24, 2009
The Kimbell Art Museum’s children’s program “Pictures and Pages” continues on Tuesday, December 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Designed for children ages four to six, this free program features a reading of the acclaimed storybook The Pencil, by Allan Ahlberg and illustrated by Bruce Ingman, followed by an engaging docent-led tour and a related art activity.
“Pictures and Pages” encourages children to use their imagination, contribute to group conversations, and participate in simple art activities. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is designed to inspire creativity and provide children with an early exposure to works of art. The program is free, but registration is required. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. Maximum of two children per adult. To register, please call 817-332-8451, ext. 297.
