January 9, 2010 from 10 a.m. to noon

The Kimbell Art Museum presents “Dot, Dash, Swirl, Splash,” a Children’s Workshop, on Saturday, January 9, from 10 a.m.–noon. From Vincent van Gogh’s brushstrokes to Paul Klee’s color combinations, explore how artists experiment with paint to express ideas and emotions on canvas.

This workshop is offered in conjunction with the special exhibition From the Private Collections of Texas: European Art, Ancient to Modern. The materials fee for the workshop is $15 ($12 for Museum members). There is no charge for parents. Maximum of three children per adult.
