This past Sunday, CBS Sunday Morning ran a feature on museum donors. The feature was titled Artistic License on-air, but is called Bringing Art to the People on the CBS website. Reporter Sandra Hughes discusses whether to loan or donate art to local museums.

The universe of philanthropy is changing in the art world as the economy threatens to shut down many museums across the country. Sandra Hughes reports on how the Los Angeles County Museum is coping.

Ms. Hughes talks with Bonnie Pitman, Director of the Dallas Museum of Art. She also talks with Margaret Huffman about her donation to the DMA along with Cindy and Howard Rochowski and DeeDee and Rusty Rose. Their combined donation to the DMA is over $400 million.

CBS Sunday Morning airs from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning on Channel 11 in Dallas.
