Texas Museums Offer Free Admission to Military Personnel and Their Immediate Family

The United States of America is giving military personnel and their immediate family another perk for their service. Through the Blue Star Museums partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, forty-two museums in Texas are offering free admission to military personnel and their immediate family. Free admission starts this Memorial Day, May 31, 2010, through Labor Day, September 6, 2010.

From the Blue Star Museums website:

If you are active duty military personnel and/or an immediate family member, all you need to do is show either a Geneva Conventions CAC ID or a DD Form 1173 ID card at the museum admissions desk. Immediate family members under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an appropriate ID holder.
