Christopher Kennedy Lawford to speak in honor of Caron Texas launch in Dallas

Heritage Auction Galleries will preview modern and contemporary art in its upcoming auction during a complimentary evening reception celebrating “The Art of Recovery” with special guest, Christopher Kennedy Lawford. The Wednesday, October 20 event will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Galleries’ 1518 Slocum Street location in the Dallas Design district to welcome Caron Texas, Dallas’ newest in-patient addiction treatment center to the Dallas community. Co-presented with the Park Cities YMCA CARE program, the evening is open to the public, with advance reservations required as seating is limited.

Mr. Lawford has worked extensively in Hollywood as an actor, lawyer, executive, and producer. In addition to his recent role as author, he is currently a Public Advocacy Consultant with Caron Treatment Centers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University, a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Masters Certification in Clinical Psychology from Harvard Medical School. Nephew of President John F. Kennedy and Senators Robert F. Kennedy and Edward M. Kennedy, Lawford is the son of the late actor Peter Lawford and Patricia Kennedy Lawford. In recovery for the past 24 years, he has authored best-seller Symptoms of Withdrawal and most recently, Moments of Clarity. At the Caron Texas event, Mr. Lawford will give the audience a glimpse into the life of one of America’s most famous families and will sign copies of his recent books, on sale that evening.
