Cubist Guitars and Candlesticks Workshop at the Kimbell Art Museum

The Kimbell Art Museum presents “Cubist Guitars and Candlesticks,” a Friday Workshop for adults, on August 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. This program combines thematic, docent-guided gallery tours with hands-on art activities for adults of all ages.

View the world through the eyes of Cubist innovators Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, and create a still-life collage incorporating faux wood-grain paper, shaded shapes, and textual clues.

The materials fee is $15 ($12 for Kimbell members). A light snack from the Buffet Restaurant is included. To register, call 817-332-8451, ext. 299.
