Free Storybook Program for Preschoolers at the Kimbell Art Museum

The Kimbell Art Museum’s ongoing children’s program Pictures and Pages continues on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Designed for children ages four to six, this program features a reading of the storybook The Snow Day, written by Komako Sakai, followed by an engaging docent-led tour and a related art activity.

Pictures and Pages encourages children to use their imaginations, contribute to group conversations, and participate in simple art activities. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is designed to inspire creativity and provide children with an early exposure to works of art. Advance registration for this free program is required, and space is limited. Maximum two children per adult.

To register, please call 817-332-8451, ext. 351.
