University of North Texas Faculty Member, Pamela B. Burnley-Schol, to be Exhibited at the Belvedere Palace Museum in Vienna

Transfiguration: Cabbage and Steel by Pamela Burnley-Schol

A work by Pamela B. Burnley-Schol, an adjunct faculty member in the University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design, will be exhibited at the Belvedere Palace Museum in Vienna.

Her work of oil and gold leaf on wood, titled Transfiguration: Cabbage and Steel, will be on display March 14 to June 17, 2012, in the exhibition, titled Gold, which examines the historic role of gold in art from the 17th to the 21st century.

Burnley-Schol is one of 140 contemporary artists selected by guest curator Thomas Zaunschrim for the exhibition, which also includes works borrowed from museums and artist internationally.

Pamela Burnley-Schol’s Transfiguration: Cabbage and Steel is 24 inches by 24 inches of oil paint on 23k gold leaf on panel.
