David Napp: In Search of Pastures
Alan Barnes Fine Art
May 10 through June 12, 2012
Alan Barnes Fine Arts showcases one of England’s most respected present-day artists, David Napp, May 10-June 12, 2012. Recently commissioned by His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent. The artist will be at the gallery opening on May 10, 2012.
For almost 25 years, David has continued to excite an array of international collectors. His hugely successful London exhibitions continue to be the “place to be seen” .He constantly battles for perfection within the medium he now dominates; the medium of pastel.
“Over the years, I have witnessed not only David Napp’s rise to an acceptable and remarkable international level of success, but also I have witnessed the welcomed acknowledgment of artistic peers, art dealers, film stars, and Royalty, including a recent commission by His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent,” says Alan Barnes.
Barnes, a native of the UK, continues to travel the European art scene where he acquires painting from private collections. From a long line of art experts, Alan’s grandfather restored paintings at Chatwell, England, and sold paintings by Winston Churchill. He recently returned to Dallas following an assignment in Santa Fe where he worked with a prominent private collection.
The Alan Barnes Fine Art Gallery will host a reception for David Napp on May 10, from 6pm-8pm with valet parking provided. Call the gallery at 214-828-1311 for reservations. The Gallery is located at 2800 Henderson Avenue, Suite 100, Dallas, Texas 75206.
