The Lillian Bradshaw Gallery at the main Dallas Public Library is featuring thirty-five paintings by Bernard Bortnick. The exhibit runs from September 1 through September 30, 2012.

Most of the works in the exhibit focus on social commentary. This is the first time these works have been displayed in public.

Bortnick is an architect. He is a fellow in the American Institute of Architecture. Bortnick attended the Kansas City Art Institute and School of Design.

The Lillian Bradshaw Gallery is located on the Music & Arts floor of the main Dallas Public Library. The gallery hours are from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. daily, Thursday from 12 p.m. till 8 p.m., Sundays from 1 p.m. till 5 p.m. The gallery is closed Mondays.
