Dallas Art Dealers Association Announces Artists Panel and Bike Swarm

The Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA) has announced two panels for the DADA Fall Gallery Walk on Saturday, September 22, 2012. The panel topics are How Do I Get In and Do I Want To? The panels are from 10:30 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC) at 3120 McKinney Avenue.

Tickets for each panel are $10 purchase in advance and $15 at the door. For more information you can contact DADA at 214.914.1099 or by email at info@dallasartdealers.org. This event benefits the Edith Baker Art Scholarship and Artist Career Development Fund.

DADA has partnered with the Creative Arts Center for these panels. Some funding was provided by the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs and the Texas Commission on the Arts.

DADA Bike Swarm

DADA and Bike Friendly Oak Cliff are having a Bike Swarm as part of the DADA Fall Gallery Walk on Saturday, September 22, 2012. The Bike Swarm will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center (OCCC), which is located at 223 W. Jefferson Blvd. This event is free. Riders have the choice of a guided or self-guided tour of the art galleries in the Design District. Free refreshments are provided by Royal 60.

The Bike Swarm will leave OCCC at 2 p.m. and ride together to the parking lot of Royal 60 at 150 Turtle Creek Blvd. From there riders can visit galleries in the Design District on their own or follow DADA Director Lisa Taylor.

There will be another meet-up at Royal 60 before heading to Turner House at 401 N. Rosemont Ave. for their exhibit 100 Years of Oak Cliff Art. Beer will be provided by Oak Cliff / Kings Highway home brewers.
