Stephen F. Austin State University has announced the 19th annual competition and exhibition. The event is open to artists in the United States. There will be $3,500 in cash awards in addition to honorable mentions and illustrated digital catalog. All media except for video or performance art are accepted.
Peter Selz, past curator at MoMA and founding director, University Art Museum at Berkeley, is the 2013 Texas National juror. Mr. Selz is also a renowned art historian who curated exhibits of Giacometti, Graves and Rothko. Mr. Selz is the author of “The Art of Engagement”.
