The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza Postpones Program

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza has announced the Living History program for March 1 and 2, 2013, has been postponed. The program featuring Kathey Atkinson will be rescheduled for later in the year.

Kathey Atkinson was a schoolgirl when President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963. She held vigil outside Parkland Hospital. A photograph of her “tearful prayer” was published internationally.

The museum says that all pre-purchased tickets will be honored when the program is rescheduled. Or the tickets can be used for any other Living History program in 2013.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza will show National Geographic Channel’s 2009 The Lost JFK Tapes: The Assassination at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 1, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. Screening access is free with paid admission.
