Divorce at the Dallas Museum of Art

Today, The Dallas Morning News reported the divorce of Maxwell Anderson, director of the Dallas Museum of Art, and his wife Jacqueline Buckingham Anderson. Reporter Howard Grant said the news was announced via Facebook and that the news was broke by D Magazine’s Fontburner blog (see Jacqueline and Max Anderson To Divorce, Ctd.)

The News states the couple met at Emory University when Mr. Anderson was 35 and Mrs. Buckingham Anderson was 19 years of age. Neither The Dallas Morning News nor D Magazine know why the couple decided to separate.

Maxwell Anderson became the Eugene McDermott Director of the Dallas Museum of Art in January 2012. He replace retiring director Bonnie Pitman.
