Klyde Warren Park Announces New Jazz Series

Klyde Warren Park announces a new series of jazz concerts called Live on the Lawn. The new concerts will begin April 25 and run through May 16. The series is sponsored by Chase and produces by Uptown Jazz Dallas. The series consists of four concerts and will debut with Spyro Gyra, an American Jazz fusion band on April 25.

  • April 25: Spyro Gyra
  • May 2: Uptown Jazz Dallas JazzMaster’s Set
  • May 9: Uptown Jazz Dallas JazzMaster’s Set
  • May 16: Shelley Carrol and the Brad Leali Big Band featuring Tatiana Mayfield & Victor Cager

The concerts are free and open to the public. The events are on Thursday evening from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The concerts will take place at the Muse Family Performance Pavilion at Klyde Warren Park.

Klyde Warren Park

Klyde Warren Park is a beautiful 5.2-acre park built over the Woodall Rogers Freeway in downtown Dallas. The park is adjacent to the Dallas Arts District, which includes the Crow Collection of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture Center. The includes a performance pavilion, restaurant, shaded walking path, dog park, children’s park, great lawn, water features and area for games. The park is open year round.
