The City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department (MCAD) Public Art Program is inviting artists living within a 100 mile radius of El Paso, Texas to submit their qualifications for art opportunities at 25 new Rapid Transit System (RTS) stations along a 14.5 mile route through the Alameda Corridor. This is an ideal opportunity for both emerging and established artists with a background in any two-dimensional media and an interest in public art. No prior public art experience required.
Applications must be submitted using the Call for Entry (CAFÉ) online application system at www.callforentry.org. Click on “Apply to Calls” and click on “City of El Paso, Alameda RTS.” All entries must be submitted before the deadline of January 30, 2014, 5:00 p.m. (MST).
