The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is accepting applications for the 2014 Davidson Family Fellowship. The fellowship was established in 1996 by a generous gift from the Davidson Family Charitable Foundation. The fellowship supports scholars working toward a PhD or at the postdoctoral level for research in the history of American art related to objects in the museum’s permanent collection which includes paintings, sculptures, works on paper, photographs and rare books.
The fellowship has a stipend rate of $3000 per month for a minimum of one month and maximum of four months, full-time research period at the museum.
The application deadline is April 15, 2014. The fellowship will start on or after September 1, 2014. The fellowship awards will be announced by May 31, 2014.
