Creative Arts Center of Dallas Announces ArtsPark 2014

In conjunction with Dallas Arts Week, the Creative Arts Center (CAC) of Dallas announce ArtsPark 2014. On Saturday, April 5, 2014 from noon to 4 p.m., the CAC presents art activities at North Park Center between Nordstrom and Macy’s. See the schedule below for details.

    • Jewelry Making – Rebecca Swann
  • At Nordtrom Court
    • 1:30 p.m. Zentangle – Cristi Campo
    • 2:30 p.m. Mosaic – Katrina Doran

Exhibition

Currently on view at CAC, Photo Fusion: Photography + Glass Department Show displays student and instructor works. The exhibition runs through May 4, 2014.

Photo Fusion includes works by Kim Argubright, Andrea Blanco, Michelle Bracken, Leigh Davis, Karla Keese, Nancy LaChapelle, Kevin McKay, Sherry Mick, Stefani Perez, Steven Reeves, Nancy Ridgway, Robin Shannon, Sharon O’Callaghan Shero, Mike Simons, Maria Sweeney, Charles Voigt, Stephen Weinberg and Julian Yates.

The CAC gallery is located at 2360 Laughlin Drive, Dallas, Texas. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Klyde Warren Park

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas will be at Klyde Warren Park on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, from noon to 1 p.m. for Lunch and Learn. Teresa Gomez-Martorell will demonstrate printmaking.

CAC will also be at the park on Sunday, April 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. Art activities will include super flights kite making, chalk murals and yarn bombing.
