The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza will feature former exotic dancer Nancy Myers for their September Living History Program. Ms. Myers danced at Jack Ruby’s Carousel Club under the stage name Tammi True. Myers was one of Ruby’s girls during President Kennedy’s assassination on November 22, 1963. Myers will discuss the shock of seeing her boss, Jack Ruby, shoot Lee Harvey Oswald on national television. Myers will be at The Sixth Floor Museum on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2 p.m.

Tickets for this event are $5 with paid admission to the museum or $10 for the program only. The museum recommends purchasing tickets in advance. Living History Series events are held on the seventh floor of the museum and will often sell-out for special guests like Ms. Myers. Tickets can be purchased online at www.jfk.org

Myers will discuss meeting Jack Ruby, working at the Carousel Club, and the Dallas burlesque scene in the 1960s. She will also sign her book, The Wild and Wayward Tales of Tammi True (2013), co-authored by David Hopkins, and other autograph items after the program.
