Jamie Wyeth is one of a troop of artistic Wyeths, which includes his grandfather,  N.C. Wyeth, his father, Andrew Wyeth, and his aunt, Carolyn Wyeth. Jamie Wyeth chose a different path than his grandfather and father, and instead trained with his aunt Carolyn after leaving school at age eleven. Wyeth studied anatomy in a New York City morgue and worked at Andy Warhol’s Factory.

Jamie Wyeth will include about 100 paintings, works on paper, illustrations and other artistic works. The exhibit will feature portraits of his wife, Phyllis Wyeth, President John F. Kennedy (posthumous commission), dancer Rudolf Nureyev and artist Andy Warhol. Also featured will be landscapes from the Brandywine River Valley, Midcoast of Maine, still life’s with pumpkins and many animals that made up the artist’s surroundings.
