Perot Museum Extends Hours for MLK Weekend

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is extending hours for the entire Martin Luther King Day weekend. Extended hours will begin Friday, January 16, and end Monday, January 19, 2015. The museum will be open until 6 p.m. on Friday through Sunday and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. General admission is $17 for adults, $12 for seniors (65+), $11 for youth (2-17) and free for children under 2 years old.

  • 11:30 a.m. Bookworm Reading Time (Level 3 landing)
  • 12:30 p.m. Science on the Spot (Level 3 landing)
  • 1 p.m. Electric Theater (Auditorium – Lower Level)
  • 2 p.m. Science Trivia (Engineering Activity Station/Texas Instruments Engineering and Innovation Hall – Level 2)
  • 3 p.m. Bookworm Reading Time (Level 3 landing)
  • 3:30 p.m. Science on the Spot (T. Boone Pickens Life Then and Now Hall – Level 4)
  • 4 p.m. Extreme Freeze: Liquid Nitrogen/Dry Ice Demo (Engineering Activity Station/Texas Instruments Engineering and Innovation Hall – Level 2)

Sunday, Jan. 18

  • 11 a.m. Superhero Science Live Show (Auditorium – Lower Level)
  • 11:30 a.m. Bookworm Reading Time (Level 3 landing)
