Dallas Theater Center Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty announced today the theater’s 2015-2016 season, which includes productions in the Potter Rose Performance Hall and the Studio Theatre at the Wyly Theatre in the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the Kalita Humphreys Theater on Turtle Creek.
The Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University has announced the recipients of its sixth annual Meadows Prize arts residency: the Detroit-based artist collective Complex Movements and Lear deBessonet, the director of The Public Theater’s Public Works program in New York City.
Dallas Museum of Art today announced the expansion of its access series. The Museum will now include a new program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, to be called All Access Art, and for the first time, offer a DMA Access docent training course, which the first group of docents has successfully completed.
“The President’s Own” United States Marine Band Brass Quintet from Washington, D.C., will give a free concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 10 in Caruth Auditorium in SMU’s Owen Arts Center, presented by the Meadows School of the Arts. The program will include Kurt Weill’s Suite from The Threepenny Opera, Monteverdi’s Four Madrigals, Darius Milhaud’s Suite française and more.
