Richland College selected ceramicist Amy Halko to judge the first annual Rose Award for Ceramic Innovation (RACI) show. This is a new Dallas Country Community College District (DCCCD) exhibit featuring ceramics and sculpture. The RACI show will be held April 5-18, 2014 at the Janette Kennedy Gallery Southside on Lamar St., Dallas. The reception is April 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Mayor Mike Rawlings and the City of Dallas Cultural Affairs Commission will kick-off the 2nd annual Dallas Arts Week at the Dallas City Hall on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at noon. Dallas Arts Week is April 5 through April 13, 2014. The week will feature more than 100 arts and cultural events in venues all over Dallas.
