Neiman Marcus Launches 2012 Christmas Book

Neiman Marcus unveiled its annual Christmas Book Tuesday October 9, 2012, with a press launch at the Filter Building on White Rock Lake. Attendees were greeted by a smiling Father Christmas and the rather puzzling “Heritage Hen mini farm” Hen House, one of the “Fantasy Gifts” from this year’s book.

Houston Doesn’t Really Want Andy Warhol

Dallas Art News reported in August that the Contemporary Art Museum Houston (CAMH) was campaigning to bring Andy Warhol to Houston. CAMH was trying to raise the $32,000 it would take to bring Rob Pruitt’s The Andy Monument to H-town. With only hours left for their IndieGoGo campaign, it looks like they will fall very short.
