The San Antonio Museum of Art will present Jamie Wyeth, a comprehensive retrospective of the artist. Jamie Wyeth will open April 25, 2015, and run through July 5. The exhibit, organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, examines Wyeth’s creative approach to realism over sixth years.

The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas is currently exhibiting twelve works by contemporary western artist Frank McCarthy. Two of the works are from the museum’s permanent collection. The remaining ten works have been on loan since 2002 and will be in the Fredericksburg Art Auction in May at InSight Gallery.

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth announced their participation in the Blue Star Museums. The Modern is now partnered with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 2,000 museum across the United States offering free admission to military personnel and their families.
